Locking system integration
The booking becomes the access right – automatic, time-limited and with no keys to hand out.
A booked room is of little use if the key to it hangs on a board in another building. Zeitwart therefore ties the booking straight into your electronic locking system: whoever books, gets in – for the booked period and not a minute longer.
The booking is the key
As soon as a booking is confirmed, Zeitwart creates the matching access right in the locking system and makes it available to the authorised person. When the booking ends, it expires again. Nobody has to hand out keys, chase them up or revoke them when somebody leaves.
The systems currently supported are SAG LM7 Flex and Loxone. The connection is configured per resource: you pick the system type and the lock, and define how the generated access codes are built.
Including the doors on the way there
Rarely does a single door lead to the destination. Alongside the room lock you therefore store special access points – main entrance, lift, floor door. Anyone booking a seminar room on the third floor is automatically authorised for everything locked along the way.
Lead and follow-up time
Two settings decide how good the system feels in daily use. The lead time opens access a few minutes before the booking starts – otherwise a guest stands in front of a locked door because their slot begins in two minutes. The follow-up time keeps it open afterwards so nobody is locked out while clearing up. Fifteen minutes lead and ten minutes follow-up are a workable starting point that you adjust per resource.
