Change series bookings

If you work with series bookings, you will always want to change them afterwards.

Perhaps you would like to remove a date from the series or move the series to a different time from a certain date? That's no problem with Zeitwart!

To edit a series, please select an associated booking:

You can view the individual bookings of the series directly by opening "Series to ..." via the "arrow down":

Here you can remove individual dates if necessary:

However, to edit the series beyond this, click on the "pencil" symbol with the note "Series" at the bottom of the "Selected booking" window:

You will now be taken to the "Edit series booking" dialogue:

Here you can now change the times of the series booking under "Time" or adjust the duration of the series under "Series date":

Important: If you shorten the duration of the series, appointments that have already been created will not be deleted. You must manually remove such appointments by deleting the appointments in the "Series to ..." area in the "Selected booking" (see above).

In our example, we want to change the times from "Selected booking" to "19:00 to 20:45". We therefore adjust the end time from "20:30" to "20:45":

Tip: Over the duration of the series, you can make the adjustment only apply for a certain period of time. Let's assume you only want to adjust the next two dates of a series, but keep the rest "as usual": Select a duration above that only includes the two dates. This will leave the other series dates untouched.

You can of course also extend the duration of the series to add more dates:

Click on "Save" to trigger the creation of further appointments if you have extended the term:

Another date has been added:

Important: If you change the duration and times at the same time, please note that this may result in additional appointments and that existing appointments will not be changed but will remain. These must then be deleted manually if necessary.
